God has involved Crestview in Missions in amazing ways in the state of Texas.  In 2003, just weeks before Crestview was scheduled to embark on a mission trip, the destination had not yet been selected.  God’s hand opened the door for Crestview to minister to the Frio River Baptist Association below San Antonio, Texas, through their director Jimmy Smith.  Since that time, Crestview has made four trips to that area and made long lasting friendships with brothers and sisters in Christ at Hosanna Baptist Church in Poteet, Texas, with Pastor Juan Flores and Calvario Baptista in Jourdanton, Texas, with Pastor Ricardo Garcia.

Crestview has held sports camps and participated in revival services, but has mainly been involved in remodeling and construction projects.  Crestview has also provided necessary furnishings such as baby beds, rocking chairs, and kitchen equipment and provided Bibles through members of our church who are Gideons.

Many individuals have participated in mission trips to South Texas with each person bringing their different talents and giving all to the task with great joy and enthusiasm.  On each trip, Crestview has seen God’s glory and is amazed at how much is accomplished in even short trips.  The members of Crestview thank God for including us in what He is doing in these other churches and look forward to where He is leading us in our next opportunity of service for the Kingdom.
